One interval for the whole crib
The instruments handed over alongside a CMM are calibrated on the same visit where practical: calipers, micrometers, height and bore gages, indicators, gage blocks, and plug, ring and thread gages.
Surface plates and granite squares are checked on interval as well, with accredited and non-accredited items identified separately on quote and certificate.
What is covered
Not every gage in a crib needs an accredited certificate. Which items require it is a decision the quality system should make explicit, not a default applied to everything.
